Overlooking Porthmeor Beach, Godrevy is the ideal base for families or up to three couples looking for a self-catering holiday in Cornwall. The soft, sandy beach at Porthmeor is a mere 10-minute walk from the house, which is situated on a lane with direct access to the South West Coastal Path.

Outside, there’s a balcony for sea views and stargazing, and a family-friendly lawned garden, ideal for the kids to play in while you fire up the barbecue or sit back and soak in the views.

Lower ground floor

There are two bedrooms and a family bathroom on the lower ground floor.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has a 6ft zip and link bed, which can be split into two single beds if preferred. And the family bathroom has a bath and shower over, WC and a basin.

Both bedrooms have doors that lead directly outside to the lawned garden. From here, you can enjoy the spectacular sea views and the kids can play all day.

Ground floor

On the ground floor, you’ll find an open plan lounge and dining area, the kitchen and a shower room.

From the entrance, the shower room is the first room you come to. From here, go up four steps to an open plan lounge/dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The house has a log burning stove to keep you nice and toasty in the colder weather. There’s also central heating throughout the property (and solar panels on the roof).

The dining area comfortably seats six, so everyone can enjoy their meals together. A smart flatscreen TV in the lounge means you can simply sit and chill (and make full use of Godrevy’s Netflix account) or play some tunes through the wireless Sonos system.

The built-in kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your self-catering holiday in St Ives. It also has an American style ice-making fridge freezer, with plenty of space for all your holiday food and treats.

There’s a balcony, with an incredible outlook, which can be accessed directly from the lounge. Take your morning coffee (or tea) outside and admire the stunning views of Porthmeor Beach (check out the surf), Godrevy Lighthouse and St Ives Bay.
